Script Pages & Combined Scripts

Script Pages

Script pages are reusable blocks of ceremony text — introductions, transitions, sponsor acknowledgements, closing remarks — that can be placed between awards in any award template or combined ceremony script.

Unlike per-award scripts (which live on the award type), script pages are standalone and can be shared across multiple templates.

Access this page from Region Management → Awards → Script Pages.

Creating a script page

  1. Click Add Script Page.
  2. Give it a descriptive name (e.g., “Opening Remarks”, “Transition to Champions”, “Closing Statement”).
  3. Write the script content in the rich text editor.
  4. Save.

The page is immediately available to add to any award template or combined ceremony script.

Editing scripts and versioning

Script page content is versioned the same way award type scripts are. Edits apply to all upcoming events. Ceremonies that have already been completed retain their original version — editing a script page never changes what was read at a past event.

Deleting a script page

A script page can be deleted if it is not placed in any template or combined ceremony script. Remove it from all templates first, then delete.

Combined Ceremony Scripts

A combined ceremony script lets you print a single unified script for an awards ceremony that spans multiple events — for example, a closing ceremony that presents awards from both a morning qualifier and an afternoon qualifier at the same venue.

Access combined scripts from Region Management → Awards → Script Pages (they appear on the same page under a separate section).

How combined scripts work

You build a combined script by:

  1. Selecting the award types and script pages to include.
  2. Setting the order they appear.
  3. At print time, choosing which specific events contribute recipients to each award.

The script resolves each award against the registrations and recipients from the chosen events. For completed events, Lumieos uses the pinned (historical) script content — the exact text read at those ceremonies.

Creating a combined script

  1. Click Add Combined Script.
  2. Give it a name (e.g., “Championship Closing Ceremony”).
  3. Add award type entries and script pages, setting the presentation order.
  4. Save.

When you are ready to print or display the combined script, open it and select the constituent events. The resolved script is generated on the fly.

Editing and deleting combined scripts

All properties of a combined script can be edited at any time. Combined scripts can be deleted without affecting any events — they are presentation tools, not linked to event configuration.
