This section helps you get up and running with Lumieos, regardless of your role.

What is Lumieos?

Lumieos is a platform for managing robotics competition teams, events, and registrations. It connects coaches, volunteers, event hosts, and region administrators in one place.

Each region provides its own Lumieos instance with a unique web address. Your region’s website will direct you to the right place to create an account.

Key Concepts

  • Region — The organization that runs robotics programs in your area. Each region has its own Lumieos instance.
  • Team — A group registered for a robotics program (FLLE, FLLC, FTC). Teams are managed by coaches and team admins.
  • Season — Lumieos operates on a season cycle. Teams register each season and complete requirements before attending events.
  • Action Items — Tasks on your dashboard that tell you what needs to be done next to get your team or profile into good standing.
  • Team Status — A team’s compliance status (e.g., “Good”, “Roster Not Complete”) determines whether it can register for events.
